Connor Naismith MP Labour Member of Parliament for Crewe and Nantwich
Connor Naismith, MP for Crewe and Nantwich, is proud to be hosting a Community Clean Up for residents to come together and make a positive impact in their community.
The Clean Up will take place on Saturday 8th February, from 10am to 12pm, with St Andrew’s Church at the central meeting point.
This event is supported by Cheshire East Council, Crewe Town Council, and Cllr Dawn Clark.
Volunteers of all ages are encouraged to join, and are asked to arrive at 9:30am for a briefing and to be kitted out with equipment. Litter pickers, gloves and bin bags, will be provided, along with safety instructions at the start of the event. Participants are advised to wear comfortable clothing and sturdy footwear.
Speaking about the initiative, Connor Naismith MP said:
“This is a chance for everyone in our community to come together, roll up their sleeves, and take pride in the area we call home. A cleaner, greener Crewe benefits everyone, and I’m excited to work alongside residents to make that happen.”
Cllr Dawn Clark, local councillor for Crewe South, who is supporting the Clean Up, said:
“I’m really grateful to Connor and his team for setting up this event, bringing people together to make genuine positive change in our community. Crewe needs and deserves looking after, and this is a great way for everyone to give our town a little TLC.”
