“I was having issues with the  DVLA. I felt there just wasn’t anyway of moving things along and was just being stonewalled each time I made contact with them. I felt there wasn’t any more I could do until my son suggested contacting my MP. I’ll be honest I thought ‘what can he do!’ I made contact by email and got a reply from him an hour later.

Now I felt somebody was on my side. He fully understood my frustration and the need for some practical intervention. Within a week all was resolved completely.
