Connor in Willaston
I’ve  launched a new campaign to address ongoing delays in postal services that have been causing frustration and disruption for residents in parts of the constituency, particularly in Nantwich and Willaston.
The campaign follows a series of complaints from local residents about missed, delayed, or inconsistent mail deliveries, which have led to serious issues such as missed bills, late medical appointment notices, and business setbacks. I’ve already raised the issue publicly, including in the press and on social media, calling out Royal Mail for their failure to maintain an acceptable standard of service.
In a new effort to ramp up pressure, I’m encouraging constituents to join me in writing directly to Royal Mail to demand action.
A letter-writing platform has been launched, making it easy for residents to voice their concerns and share how the delays have impacted their lives. By consolidating these voices, the campaign aims to hold Royal Mail accountable and push for solutions that will restore reliable service to the affected areas.
I have previously urged Royal Mail to conduct a full investigation into the delays and ensure the reliability of their services in the area. Despite assurances, the problems persist, making it clear that further pressure is needed.
